Years ago Allan bought me a beautiful handmade paper piece of art on which a Hebrew prayer for finishing things was inscribed. He gave it to me with hope that the sewing projects I had started and stacked in my sewing room would someday be finished, but I think of that beautiful keepsake as I begin my adventure at Auburn. In 1973 I began a master's degree program in Industrial Engineering and in 1975 I left the program unfinished. In 2010 I begin the process of finishing the program.
